Read the film transcript

A painted figure pauses at a fork in a terracotta path, then starts walking. The picture becomes a reflection: “What do I notice?” and “What could I try?” The camera reveals another view of the path.

Narration: When you feel stuck, you don’t have to solve everything at once. Begin with one situation. Notice what you bring. Explore a different perspective. Imagine a possible response… then put your next step into words.

Through stories, conversations, and illustrated exercises, explore what keeps you stuck—and what it could mean to move forward. Each practice makes room for reflection on your own life.

01Unpacking: start with one situation

Choose one manageable concern. Make a few notes about what you remember, what you felt, and what you needed. Uncertainty can remain in your notes.

02Linking: explore a picture

Use one of the book’s illustrated Doer Cards to connect details in a picture with your own experience. The examples show how the practice can work in everyday life.

03Visioning: imagine a possible response

Picture a possible way forward, or describe it in words. The exercise explores what you might try, with room for your needs, resources, and support.

04Writing: make a reminder you can use

Turn your reflection into a short personal affirmation and a possible next action. Return to it at your own pace, and revise it as you learn.
